How Shoopy handles your information.
Shoopy is built by Clevup Technologies Pvt. Ltd. If you use the service, the personal information we collect is used for providing and improving it — and we do not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.
What we collect, and why
For a better experience while using the service, we may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to precise and approximate location, name, email address, address, phone number, photos, contact list, crash logs and diagnostics information. The information we request is retained by us and used as described in this policy.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you: Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. Each publishes its own privacy policy.
What is recorded when something goes wrong
Whenever you use the service, in the case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called log data. It may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when using the service, the time and date of your use, and other statistics.
Cookies in the app and on the website
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. The app does not use cookies explicitly, but it may use third-party code and libraries that do. You can accept or refuse these cookies; refusing may make some portions of the service unavailable.
Like any other website, shoopy.in uses cookies to store visitor preferences and the pages visited, and uses that information to optimise the experience by customising content to your browser type and other information.
Third parties who work on our behalf
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the service, provide it on our behalf, perform service-related work or help us analyse how the service is used. These parties have access to your personal information only to perform the tasks assigned to them, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
How your information is protected
We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Rights under GDPR and CCPA
Every user is entitled to the following under GDPR:
- Access — request copies of your personal data (a small fee may apply).
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate information or complete incomplete information.
- Erasure — ask us to erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing, under certain conditions.
- Objection — object to our processing, under certain conditions.
- Portability — ask us to transfer collected data to another organisation, or directly to you.
Under the CCPA, California consumers additionally have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal data collected, to request its deletion, and to direct a business that sells personal data not to sell it.
If you make a request under either, we have one month to respond — contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Children's information
shoopy.in does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you think your child provided this kind of information on our website, contact us immediately and we will do our best to promptly remove it from our records. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in and monitor their children's online activity.
